  • How long do lessons last?
Lessons will be a minimum of 50 minutes for one lesson or two lessons back to back for 1 hour 40 minutes
  • How long does it take for a learner driver to be test ready?
There are 2 tests that you must do; a theory and a practical. Students can sit their theory test before having any driving lessons, as long as they have done some preparation. For a practical test, it usually takes 30-50 hours of practical driving practice, depending on the driver's confidence and ability.
  • Can I book a block of lessons?
Yes, you can - just give us a call and we can work out the best package for your requirements.
  • Can I buy vouchers for driving lessons?
Yes you can. Contact me and I can run through the details
  • If I learn to drive in a manual car, can I drive an automatic?
Yes, your licence will permit you to drive both a manual car and an automatic.
  • Is there benefit in learning to drive just an automatic car?
Many people prefer automatic cars because they are easier to learn in. All manufacturers offer a great selection of automatic makes and models. Plus, the industry is moving towards more automatic cars in terms of hybrid and electric vehicles.
  • If I learn to drive in an automatic car, can I drive a manual car?
No, if you take your test in an automatic you are only licenced to drive automatic cars. You would need to take a test in a manual car.
  • How long does it take to complete Pass Plus?
The standard Pass Plus takes 6 hours or more. You need to cover six modules and we would dedicate a lesson to each one. Students get a certificate when they complete a Pass Plus.
